We started with Katie Gilruth of Paper Candies greeting cards and P.S Deliveries in Nantucket (29, 65, 22), a delivery service with flowers, cards and gifts. Her new sim will be called Papyrus and will be open soon. We also heard from Sebastian Carducci and silverkat Tiger about their new sim Silver Isle which is still being developed. We got into strategies for setting up spaces in SL, such as what makes a space "avatar friendly" to use silverkat's term! MR O SHOW #10: WED 12-20-06 9PM PST On tonight we had Jupiter Vale and Papa Doctorow of club Absentia. We were later joined by Hippiegeek Book who runs sim SoHo Topics ranged from running a club in SL and on to why SL is so compelling for doing so. We discussed mostly the sense of immediately jumping into SL and getting something (such as a club) started. There are other 3D worlds in which you can do some of the same things right? We talked to Gabriella Mollinari and her partner Maddog Thunders for the entire hour about her SL experiences, which seem to have crossed over into RL. Such an interesting and gracious people to talk to. We discussed their sim NUESTRO PARAISO and their other adventures building clubs and living their Second Lives. Welcome back Wurlitzer Seisenbacher who chimed in some interesting questions that led us to discuss games and virtual worlds. Looks like we are all major kool-aid drinkers who support each other's habits !!
